The FlexConfig Analyzer is a fast, easy tool for visualizing CAN, LIN or FlexRay data on a smartphone or tablet. In late June of 2018, STAR COOPERATION will launch FlexConfig Analyzer 3.3, the latest update with a wide range of new features. Two of them are particularly useful:

  • Support for the FlexDevice-S

Use your FlexDevice-S as an interface. The FlexConfig Analyzer previously only supported the FlexDevice-L and the FlexCard Air-S.

  • New AUTOSAR.arxml database formats

The new FlexConfig Analyzer 3.3 allows you to visualize bus signals in the latest vehicle generations; the release supports the database formats AUTOSAR (*.arxml) 4.0.3, 4.1.1, 4.2.1, 4.2.2 and 4.3.0.

How to visualize data with the FlexConfig Analyzer

To visualize your CAN, LIN or FlexRay data on a smartphone or tablet, you need to establish a wireless connection to a compatible bus interface via Bluetooth or wifi. The system can be set up rapidly. It is easy to use even without extensive specialist knowledge. You can create and store new display sets in no time flat. The high-resolution touch screens of modern tablets display the required signals in a well-organized format.

FlexConfig Analyzer 3.3: what’s new

The latest version allows you to visualize signals of the CAN-FD bus system. The FlexConfig Analyzer supports both the ISO and non-ISO modes of CAN-FD.

Do you already create gateways and restbus simulations with FlexConfig RBS and run them on a FlexDevice-L unit? If so, you can now run the FlexConfig Analyzer in parallel. This allows you to visualize the signals of a gateway or a restbus simulation during operation and check whether they are running flawlessly in real time.

We are also introducing an update mechanism for FIBEX and AUTOSAR documentation files. which enables you to continue using existing display sets during an update rather than having to set them up anew.
