Development, trade fairs and fresh capital for ello
In the past months, the team has made great progress in developing ello. The latest model comes with all the functionalities that will also be included in the saled model. Therefore, the path to the planned market launch this summer is clear.
At EXPOLIFE in Kassel, the feedback of the visitors was suitably positive. At the trade fair, eMovements exhibited the current version of ello for the first time. In order to also target end-customers, the team also participated in the REHAB conference in Karlsruhe mid-May. These activities were supported by new marketing material, e.g. a new flyer and new images of ello in action.
The overall climate for the product launch is very good. They have already managed to secure concrete sales prospects with medical supply stores, chains and the larges buying syndicate in Germany. The market for walking frames in general also has great potential – especially when it comes to demographic developments. As a first step, ello will be available in just a small first edition.
Furthermore, we are also happy that eMovements has secured eine fresh capital of EUR 500,000. That way, they do not run out of money during the market launch.
