Based on our performance PWM generator FlexGen-M PWM, we have developed a cap rail module for the switchboard especially for application in automation technology. The FlexGen-M PWM remote is perfectly suitable for controlling hatches, actuators, valves, smaller direct-current motors and other actuators on test benches.
One of our cap rail module’s highlights is the possibility to control all functions via an integrated CAN interface. In this, the adjusted values are cyclically reported via this interface.
Thinking automation technology into the future
To be perfectly prepared for future development, we have integrated a switchable SENT interface on the hardware end, that can be configured via an internal USB interface and the help of a future software update. Through a teach-in drive, the sensor stop values can be determined for each actuator. Furthermore, the actuator’s behavior can be controlled by the test bench thanks to measuring the current at the output stage. Thereby, error conditions can be detected immediately.
