Social responsibility as well as responsibility for the environment and nature is an important component in STAR COOPERATION’s business policy. The fact that we comply with our project partners’ demands not just in professional and methodical terms, but also in such important areas as sustainability – as was just confirmed – underlines the importance of the STAR Group’s sustainability strategy.
In the past months, several of our customers from the premium automotive segment have been evaluating their suppliers’ sustainability and environmental management under the guidance of an independent agency. In this, the STAR COOPERATION was asked about its activities and measures concerning working conditions, human rights, environmental protection and safety as well as business ethics and compliance.
The evaluation showed that STAR fully conforms with the customer expectations in Corporate Social Responsibility. “We are glad that our customers value our initiatives and that we can strengthen the common basis of our collaboration also in this area,” says Alexander Schülein, who has been accompanying the process on management level. “We will continue to consequently implement the sustainability demands and actively promote them in our supply chains”, he furthermore promises.
