Last week, the STAR COOPERATION expected some high-level visitors. Mayor Wolfgang Lützner wanted to personally congratulate the Böblingen-based service provider for being awarded as „TOP CONSULTANT 2016“. He was accompanied by Dominic Schaudt, Head of the Office for Property and Economic development since the start of the year. He visited STAR for the first time on its site in the Hulb industrial park.

However, the meeting between city officials and the family business was not just a curtesy call. The two visitors especially wanted to know how the STAR Management in the persons of Ramona Kaden, Oliver Messer and Katharina Hennigs, rated the chances of Böblingen as economic locations now and in future – and what role the local employers will play in this respect. On a tour through the premises, the participants exchanged their views on the future development of the Hulb industrial park, on social engagements like the Sterntaler, on trend topics like New Mobility and the increasing digitalization also in the public authorities. They quickly agreed: there are plenty of interfaces and potentials for the city and its economy to collaborate more.
