The STAR COOPERATION can report an addition to its Group at the start of the new year. As of 1 January 2016, the Karlsruhe-based full service agency Sense&Image GmbH is part of the company based in Böblingen and will reinforce the Media & Logistics division with strong know-how in creation, app development and 3D.

The full service advertising agency Sense&Images’ customers predominantly are global players in the pharmaceutical and medical industries and its portfolio contains conception, print media, web solutions, apps as well as film & animation. Thereby, the 15 employees offer a genuine all-round carefree feel-good package in marketing and communications. “We have been following each others’ path for a long time. Now we can continue writing these two success stories together,” comments Ramona Kaden, Head of the Media & Logistics division, the acquisition.

Sense & Image joins STAR COOPERATION

Welcome at STAR: the team of Sense&Image

New customer groups, enhances portfolio

„We are very happy to have such a successful team like Sense&Image on board. For us, that means more brains, more creative ideas and more impact,” says Benjamin Hillscher, General Manager at STAR PUBLISHING, who will assume operational management in future. With this acquisition, STAR not only complements its existing service portfolio, but also opens up valuable new customer groups in the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

Also for Sense&Image’s previous Managing Director Eckart Blau, the integration into the STAR Group promises many benefits: „With a strong partner like STAR having our back, we can fully leverage our growth potential and offer our creative team the development opportunities of a highly professional Group. Most important for me was to hand over my agency and team into a safe environment.” Eckart Blau will stay with the company also after the acquisition by the STAR COOPERATION and will increasingly focus on Customer Care, Sales and Business Development in the future. The change in ownership will not be perceptible externally. The name and external appearance of Sense&Image will remain unaltered for the time being. Furthermore, the contractual agreements with employees, customers and partners will be continued seamlessly.
